STILL || LIFE is a modern alternative metal band from San Diego built on massive grooves, cinematic atmosphere, post-hardcore melody, and emotional weight that feels lived in. Formed by Mike Howland, Mark Piazza, and Dusan Rakic, the band turns grief, memory, identity, relationships, fatherhood, and healing into songs that hit hard without hiding what they mean.

The sound lives between collapse and release: low-tuned guitars, drums and bass built to move the room, leads that feel like a second voice, and vocals that turn vulnerability into something bigger.
